Some do it competitively, some do it for the love, others because they feel the need to prove themselves on a social level. Personally I just think that music on a mainstream level has taken the core of what we as humans originally appreciated and turned it into a marketing gimmick. The music I make is from the heart no stories, no narcissistic comments, or highly critical thoughts, just a creative energy from my own soul.
