About Artist
Casualty of Truth came about after my previous band, "Hiding From Aubrey" disbanded. At the time, the war in Iraq was heating up, as public opinion divided the nation. Dispite peaceful protests and world outrage, our leaders went rogue mission, that had absolutely nothing to do with 911. As a journalist, I witnessed first hand just how the system had failed us. I decided to write a song called "Casualty or Truth," which demonstrated the death of democracy in the face of war. I wanted to show how we lost control, or maybe never even had control over what our political leaders do. After that song, I came up with several other songs. Without a band, I went into the studio and cut a demo.
Truth be told, I was never really satisfied with the production value of HFA's two albums. The singer for the band went back to England, so I decided to rerecord a few of my favorite tracks, and add them to my Casualty of Truth Demo. Now I have a full album called, "Killing the Threat One Terrorist at a Time." Most of the album was recorded in Waco Texas in 2007-2009. The finally touches were added in Colorado Springs, CO.
